Global warming is a generally ignored topic for its overwhelming sense that any change cannot make a difference, possibly due to a lack of ground knowledge or simply staying ignorant to the issue and current efforts working towards reducing our impact. The goal is to engage readers on the topic and guide them to positive, progressive change for our future.
02 — CREATIVE PROCESS
It contains engaging, bold illustrations and diagrams that express an abstract concept and mood that visually interprets the accompanying type-heavy articles to draw the reader's attention. Images are coloured with dreary tones to create a sympathetic and morbid mood with coated Pantone colours on a glossy paper finish. This book is primarily for digital distribution but can be produced physically using biodegradable soy-based inks and recycled paper.
The content is structured in a 5-column grid with a section reserved for the diagonal headline, while adjacent is prioritised for large paragraphs. A grid structure that maximises adequate space for an uncluttered appearance and easy readability.
A mixture of type styles that express seriousness and sophistication blended with the illustrative imagery, using a formula to determine the proportion scale of size, line height and margin spacing for legibility.
