01 — PROJECT DETAILS
Adolescents are susceptible to developing an obsessive and impulsive behavioural addiction to their phone, known as nomophobia, causing symptoms of severe anxiety and depression. I conducted extensive research and surveying to identify addiction aspects, such as behaviour and consumption levels.

02 — CREATIVE PROCESS
Elaborately written storytelling and compelling visuals tell an engaging message, offering a vividly emotional experience to captivate the audience. A base colour palette of dark and dreary tones powerfully evoke danger and reflects our unhealthy habit. A survey was crafted in tandem with the animation to collect demographic insights on opinions and comprehension of the message, coupled with an analysis of average screen time.

03 — RESULT
This case study highlighted the impact of excessive phone consumption on mental and physical health, mainly focusing on adolescents vulnerable to nomophobia. Through a research-backed animated short, the project offers practical solutions in an engaging visual style, aiming to inspire reflection and positive behavioural change in our tech-driven society.
